High Performance Composite Material

By Christina Cohr, CCO, M.Eng (Export), FlowCon International ApS, Denmark - 08.2019, updated 05.2024

Why Use Composite?

All new and exciting products including anything ranging from super cars to spaceships are nowadays including composite materials to reach new heights in performance and at the same time keep weight low.

Composite in FlowCon valves

At FlowCon we have for years offered similar high-performance with our HVAC valves:

  • Pressure Independent Control Valves (PICVs)
  • Pressure Independent ΔT Control Valves (PITCVs) also known as energy valves in the market
  • Differential Pressure Control Valves (DPCVs)
  • Temperature Control Valves (TCVs)
  • Dynamic / Automatic Balancing Valves (ABVs)
  • Thermostatic valves

They all include composite material which is proven stable and durable in HVAC systems as well and ensures long life expectancy.
In the table below, we have gathered the information in a simple overview. For more details we refer to the product technical literature.
